“The Riley Old Home Society” will show a special exhibit from their collection, “James Whitcomb Riley: The Painter-Poet and a Panorama of Portrayals,” Tuesday-Saturday, April 3-May 31, from 11 AM-4 PM.

Many of these 23 works, by local and regional artists, are on display for the first time at the museum. Artists in this free exhibit include William A. Bixler, Richard Brown Black, John Keefer, Karl Kae Knecht, J. I. McDaniel, Lester C. Nagley, Sr., R.B. and Carolyn Orr, Myra Reynolds Richards, James Whitcomb Riley, and Will Vawter.

Visitors may also take a guided tour next door at the birthplace and boyhood home of Greenfield’s native son, James Whitcomb Riley, the “Hoosier Poet.” There’s a small admission fee, which helps maintain the home.
