People of all ages are invited to bring a pumpkin and a carving kit (no knives, please) to the Riley Boyhood Home Museum and gardens for a free carving workshop. It’s not required, but we encourage you to enter your finished pumpkin in the Festival of Jack-o-Lanterns contest & display following this class.

The stunning display will be lit from 7 to 9 p.m. each night, October 24-31, for public viewing outside the museum. (You are not required to take this workshop in order to enter your pumpkin in the display.) The pumpkins will be recycled on November 1.

If you’d like to enter the contest & display, pre registration is encouraged (but not required) at https://rileyhome.wufoo.com/forms/ms9dlob1xj2293/

This event is co-sponsored by the museum and Hancock County Arts. (See contest details in the calendar entry below.)
