Happy New Year! We’ve made a few adjustments to our show calendar due to
Covid but never fear, art will go on. Our postponed January Winter Wonderland Show
will be held in March. Remember, snow is pretty! Repeat if necessary. Let’s embrace the
inevitable and have a little fun with it. Grab a paintbrush and create a snowy piece of art
for the March Members Only Winter Wonderland Exhibit. Not a member? Easy to join at
http://www.hancockcountyarts.com.
Let’s fill the walls with fun snow scenes – any scene, any medium – just as long as there’s
snow. You may make arrangements to drop off your artwork now by emailing
cbarrett2111@gmail.com. We would love to fill the gallery walls now during our current
closure due to the pandemic. Or you may wait to drop off your work on Thursday,
March 4th – 3 to 6 pm. Please email your intent to enter by February 14th.
We hope to once again open our doors to the public for the show opening on Saturday,
March 6th. Our public reopening depends on our Covid numbers at that time. Please
watch our Facebook posts for updates at Hancock County Arts – Home | Facebook. We
also hope to hold a public reception on Second Friday, March 12th from 6:30 to 8:30 PM.
Come enjoy a snowcone with us and celebrate our reopening!
The show will be available for inperson viewing every Wednesday and Saturday (11 to
2) throughout the month (assuming our Covid numbers allow us to safely reopen). If this
is not possible, we will be presenting the show virtually on our Facebook page. All art will
be released on Sunday, March 28th from 3 to 5 pm.

Artist Call Out! Members Winter Wonderland Exhibit January 2021!
I know this is how most of us are feeling right now but it will get better!! In the meantime, I wanted you to think about snow. Ok, maybe that didn’t help you feel better but hear me out. Snow is pretty and it’s coming soon. It will cover our lawns and rooftops and create a magical winter wonderland. Let’s embrace the inevitable and have a little fun with it. Let’s grab a paintbrush and create a snowy piece of art for the January Gallery Show.
The TwentyNorth Gallery would like to start off 2021 with a Members’ Winter Wonderland Exhibit. Let’s fill the walls with fun snow scenes – any scene, any medium – just as long as there’s snow. Drop off will be Wednesday, January 6th and Thursday, January 7th – 3 to 5 pm.
The show opening is planned for Second Friday, January 8th from 6:30 to 8:30 PM. Come enjoy a snowcone with us and celebrate the beginning of a new year! The show will be available for viewing every Wednesday and Saturday (11 to 2) throughout the month. The art will be released on Sunday, January 31st from 3 to 5 pm.
Please send me your intent to submit by Christmas via email to cbarrett2111@gmail.com. I’ll make my list and check it twice, making sure we have plenty of space to display your work.
Have a blessed and safe holiday season.
