Another successful Riley Festival has come to a close. I am proud to say we had well over 100 guests in Twenty North Gallery over the four days of the festival.
Special thanks are in order for Jim and Joan Webb, Kitty Smock, Carol Barrett, Mark Dudley, Katie Coffin and Gary Schmitt for spending time with me in the gallery during the festival.
Additionally, thanks go out to Christine and John Schaefer from KidsPlay, JoAnna Crump from Hancock County Children's Choir, Andrew and Marybeth from Ten West, The ladies from Greenfield Community Choir, the fabulous Hearts ABlaze cloggers and Sandy Hall for manning our booth.
The weather was perfect and we were able to introduce the Arts Council to many new friends, encourage young artists, and chat with first time visitors to our lovely county.

The paint was faded and peeling. Thanks to Home Depot and Behr Paint for donating the supplies and providing some manpower. Yes the murals have been painted over but don’t worry we took pictures of them. We are looking for local artists to paint new ones. We are trying to preserve the murals on the front of the building so it has not been painted yet. ... See MoreSee Less
