Some of the first art has found its way into the North Street Living Alley! Our lights are up, and the trellis bases are set. The alley will be closed the next few days for seal coating, landscaping should come in next week, and the project should wrap up shortly after!

Hey, film fans. I would really like to encourage everyone to attend the Manhattan Short Film Festival Fri., Sept. 23 at 7 p.m. at the Ricks Centre. Christine Schaefer did a story on it this week and was VERY impressed by every aspect of it: the origins of the festival, how it became a world-wide event, how GREENFIELD's Ricks Centre became a venue for it and the quality of the films. Note: last year, a film shown here WON the Oscar for Best Animated Short.
