Artist Call Out! Members Winter Wonderland Exhibit January 2021!

I know this is how most of us are feeling right now but it will get better!!  In the meantime, I wanted you to think about snow. Ok, maybe that didn’t help you feel better but hear me out. Snow is pretty and it’s coming soon. It will cover our lawns and rooftops and create a magical winter wonderland. Let’s embrace the inevitable and have a little fun with it. Let’s grab a paintbrush and create a snowy piece of art for the January Gallery Show.

 

The TwentyNorth Gallery would like to start off 2021 with a Members’ Winter Wonderland Exhibit. Let’s fill the walls with fun snow scenes – any scene, any medium – just as long as there’s snow. Drop off will be Wednesday, January 6th and Thursday, January 7th – 3 to 5 pm.

 

The show opening is planned for Second Friday, January 8th from 6:30 to 8:30 PM. Come enjoy a snowcone with us and celebrate the beginning of a new year! The show will be available for viewing every Wednesday and Saturday  (11 to 2) throughout the month. The art will be released on Sunday, January 31st from 3 to 5 pm.

 

Please send me your intent to submit by Christmas via email to cbarrett2111@gmail.com. I’ll make my list and check it twice, making sure we have plenty of space to display your work.

COVID: Gallery Closed Until Further Notice – Check Out Our Virtual Events!

The Twenty North gallery will now be closed for public events due to the rise of Covid cases. We will continue to bring virtual events during this time. Updates will be posted on our website and Facebook pages.  We hope to see you all very soon but in the interim, please enjoy our Festival of Trees and Denim and Diamonds Auction.

Hancock County Arts Invites all Community Businesses and Non-Profit Organizations to join the Festival of Trees at the TwentyNorth Gallery this December

*DUE TO THE RISE IN COVID CASES, ALL EVENTS INSIDE THE GALLERY ARE CANCELLED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.

As we approach the holiday season, Hancock County Arts would like to announce a special exhibit in the TwentyNorth Art Gallery. During the entire month of December, we will host our first Festival of Christmas Trees. We would like to invite all businesses and non-profits to exhibit a tree representing their business or organization. The public will be welcomed into the gallery to view the trees and become more aware of your organization and the service you provide or the business opportunities you offer. We will also be offering a fun Christmas shoppe inside the gallery filled with handmade items.

As we approach the holiday season with caution, we will be focused on providing a safe environment for our guests. Our hope is that the exhibit will bring joy and hope to all by seeing the beautiful trees. Even those who simply drive by the gallery each day will be treated to an array of glittering Christmas lights and may even hear Christmas carols as they stroll by our front window.

Please join the fun and reserve a spot for your tree by registering at the link below. Our registration fee of $10 will be used to reward our People’s Choice Winner. The gallery will be receiving the trees on Tuesday, December 1 and Wednesday, December 2 from 3 to 7 pm. You may spend that time decorating your trees. Please bring a power strip to accompany your tree to connect the lightning.

Guests will be welcomed into the gallery every Saturday from 11 to 5 with additional hours during the annual Christmas parade on Friday, December 11th. Guests may vote for their favorite tree for the People’s Choice Award.  We will also share our Facebook posts so you may invite your clients, friends and family to see the exhibit.

If you would like to host an event at the gallery during the exhibit, please let us know. We would love to share our space with you during the holidays. Safety protocols are in place and attendance limited but our hope is that you can share a bit of the holiday cheer with your staff or clients.
